SPECIAL NOTE TO ALL RETURNING DRIVERS & NAVIGATORS: if you sign up a new driving team for the 2010 Rally that has never before participated, we will give you a 10% discount off your own minimum fundraising commitment, which means $100 for Challengers and fully $350 for Masters Series participants!!
You are invited to lend your support and join the fun…
The Sinai Car Rally is an annual charity drive that encourages teams made up of a driver and navigator to test their skills as they maneuver from the starting point at Mount Sinai Hospital, through checkpoints and finally to the finish line and our fabulous closing dinner at Towne Hall Restaurant in Pointe-Claire. It offers participants and supporters the opportunity to share their passion for exotic cars or simply the pleasure of a challenging rally with new and old friends alike, while supporting respiratory care and treatment at a tremendous hospital; certainly a worthwhile cause. For the second year now, the Sinai Rally will also be environmentally friendly. Thanks to our donation to Planetair to offset our emissions, our event will be completely carbon neutral! We hope you enjoy your visit to our site.

WHAT IS A CAR RALLY ANYWAY?
The best way to answer this question is to offer a comparison: a car rally is like a treasure hunt in a car! At the beginning of the day, each team is given a Navigation Guide, which contains the rally route that you must decipher and the rally questions you must answer in order to collect points. It is important to note that this type of car rally IS NOT A RACE. You win by getting more correct answers than any other team. In order to answer the questions correctly, you must first decipher the proper rally route, which is where the navigational challenge enters the picture. Time is only a factor if two teams are tied with the same number of points at the end of the day, in which case the team that finishes with the fastest time wins. Mount Sinai Hospital... What a hospital is meant to be
Mount Sinai Hospital Montreal was established in 1909 in Ste-Agathe, Quebec. Today, it is a 107 bed, McGill University affiliated teaching hospital, located in Montreal with state-of-the-art facilities specializing in respiratory, palliative and long-term care. At Mount Sinai we do more than just treat patients, we care for people. We take a global approach that considers patients, their families and their environments. “Mount Sinai is not just a hospital; it is what a hospital is meant to be.”

EXCITING NEW INCENTIVES FOR RALLY TEAMS...
1) Fundraising Incentive
We will be offering a grand prize in a drawing to reward our fundraising teams. There will also be several other prizes up for grabs. Stay tuned for updates!
Here’s how it works:
- Every team that meets their minimum fundraising commitment ($1,000 for Challengers and $3,500 for Masters) by Rally Day gets one entry in the drawing
- For every $100 that Challengers raise above their minimum, they receive one additional entry in the drawing
- For every $250 that Masters raise above their minimum, they receive one additional entry in the drawing
2) Driver Sign-Up Incentive
In order to encourage teams to help us by getting their friends, family or colleagues involved in the Rally, we are offering a 10% discount off your minimum fundraising commitment to all teams who can sign up a new team that has never before participated in the Rally. If you can sign up 2 teams or even 3, that’s great and you will receive 20% or 30% off your fundraising commitment! Good luck!
Due to the economic climate, this has been a very challenging year for charitable foundations across the board. As such, we greatly appreciate any efforts you can make to prop up, even in some small way, our fundraising for the Rally. With these incentives, we believe it is really a win-win situation!
