CORPORATE SPIRIT FOR COMMUNITY 

For the 2010 edition of the rally, we are offering a category called Corporate Spirit for Community.. For $3,500, companies are invited to enter a team consisting of up to four (4) employees. In addition, companies will receive visibility as a corporate sponsor in return for the corporate goodwill towards community.


How it works

With the help of staff in the foundation office, employees are encouraged to raise funds for their Corporate Spirit for Community team in a variety of ways, which may include collecting pledges for a sporting activity against another organization, holding a fundraising event such as a BBQ, wine & cheese or vernissage, or simply writing letters to suppliers, associates, clients and corporate contacts as well as to friends and family of the employees who are involved in the effort.


A win-win-win proposition:

Companies will receive the exposure offered at the Paddock Club Sponsor level, which includes:
  • organization’s logo in all promotional material (brochure, invitations, navigation guide, etc…)
  • organization’s logo & link on our website
  • ‘Internal recognition’ poster so that all employees, clients and visitors will be aware of company’s involvement with such a great cause.
  • organization’s logo included in emails to our participants, sponsors, volunteers, suppliers and service providers
  • organization’s logo on signage at Rally events.

The foundation office will also provide the following fundraising support:
  • logistical assistance for any event that employees decide to organize
  • letter-writing and mail preparation for fundraising letter campaign
  • breakfast briefing on fundraising tips and suggestions to help kick off their fundraising efforts.

Finally, companies receive the added advantage of better productivity and office morale thanks to the employee benefits described below.

Employees engage in collaborative fundraising efforts and participate in a great day of rallying for respiratory care. The rally itself requires teams to work together to successfully decipher a series of clues and answer questions in order to complete the course and collect points. Employees and the work environment as a whole will benefit from this charitable exercise by improving their teambuilding skills, office morale and camaraderie both as they engage in fundraising activities and through the challenge and reward of participating in the rally together. Employees, stakeholders in the company and the general public will have increased enthusiasm and respect for the company and its activities as a responsible corporate citizen.

Our hospital will benefit by receiving more money to help more people suffering from respiratory disease. Every Corporate Spirit for Community team that enters the rally allows Mount Sinai Hospital Foundation to raise additional much-needed funds in support of comprehensive respiratory care for our patients.
